Welcome to SouthTXFishing.com
My new year's resolution for this year is to pay more attention to this website. When I opened it up a few months ago I got close to where I wanted this site to be at construction wise. Then mid-terms came along and suffice it to say that I was spending too much time working on this place rather than focusing on my school work. So I put this site on the back burner and focused solely on my schoolwork. Managed to make all A's and a B, so I'm pretty stoked about it.
Anyway, for those of you who are showing up for the first time, I would like to welcome you to SouthTXFishing.com. I have put this site together (and am currently working on more things to throw into it) for anyone who wants to know anything about saltwater fishing in South Texas. I'll be putting together information on all kinds of different fishing methods, locations, and tricks for those who are interested in getting into fishing the the miles and miles of South Texas coastline, and the miles upon square miles of offshore fishing opportunities.
I also don't want this to be a place for just the beginners to come and visit, so I've also put together some things for the experienced fishermen too. There are weather forecasts, wind conditions and tide predictions. For those of you who might not know how to use these tools, I'll be putting together a tutorial on how to actually use them.
If you are planning a trip to South Texas, be sure to book a trip some of our fantastic guide and charter services. I hope to begin adding some of their information to the directory soon. (If you happen to be a guide, drop me a line through the contact link and I'll let you know how you can get added to the guide and charter directory.)
